The Dead Weather began when The Raconteurs toured the U.S. with The Kills,the summer of 2008. Jack White(The White Stripes,The Raconteurs) Alison Mosshart(The Kills), bassist "L.J." Lawrence(what band has he not played in?), and Dean Fertita(Queens of the Stone Age guitarist)began working on a full album at White's Third Man Studios in Nashville TN.With White on drums and Alison Mosshart as lead vocalist,Dead Weather finished recording their album Horehound in a few weeks...
